Pass Christian, LA - New Deck and Stairs Construction

This Pass Christian deck was right off the beach, soaking up the sun and saltwater. But years of weather had worn it down. Time for a refresh!

It was refacing stairs and a deck with composite decking. Being so close to the beach and salt water, we recommended the homeowner go with stainless steel screws. When we took the old deck up, we found some joists and stringers that needed to be replaced which we took care of along with adding nailers for the picture frame design for the decking. Also the flashing where the deck connected to the house was bad as well so we replaced that too.

The homeowner loved their new, worry-free deck. Now they can sip coffee and soak in the beach vibes in total comfort.
